The picturesque village Brienz lies in a delightful mountain setting at the eastern end of Lake Brienz and its turquoise waters.
Arguably the most romantic street in Switzerland, the Brunngasse in the oldest part of the village is famous beyond the country’s borders. Most of the wooden chalets date back to the 18th century and are decorated with woodcarvings.
